This 19th century "saddlebag" cabin with two living areas that share one chimney is found just south of Gatlinburg Tennessee.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park
April 25, 2014
The cabin was built by Noah "Bud" Ogle over five years spanning the late 1880's and early 1890's. I arrived at the cabin site just after a morning rainstorm as the sun chased through the clouds. The wet look provided shine and accentuated color on the ground and structures. Additional color harmony work during post processing pulled the cabin into the palette. A four-pen barn rests on the hill.
